Typically phones, laptop, router, a lamp, and possibly a CPAP or fridge. Write down each device's watts.

Watts is how much it can deliver at once; watt-hours is how long. You need enough of both — check the surge rating too.

Charge it fully before you need it
Top the unit up and set a calendar reminder to recharge every few months so it is ready when the power goes out.

Run your fridge or router off it for an hour on a normal day so you know the real runtime, not the marketing figure.

- A power station is resilience, not a bill-reduction device — treat it as insurance.

- Never run one indoors with a fuel generator; the power station itself is safe indoors, combustion generators are not.
